OOTD: Sangria Saturday

A weekend off, yaayyyay!! We headed to a mates place today for a Mexican feast and many Saturday afternoon laughs. As a contribution to the banquet we brought a jug of home-made sangria! Being sangria virgins, we googled a few recipes and created our own sangria mix.






We made enough for about eight good size red wine glasses and guesstimating, I reckon there were about 11 standard drinks in there! Phew! Our recipe:

- 750mls of red wine
- 2 shots of brandy
- 2 cups of dry ginger ale
- 2 cups of lemonade
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 2 oranges, 1 big lemon
- cinnamon
