Plus, there are literally going to be bloggers and Aussie Curves babes flying in from all over the country- cocktails much!? Home grown flavour, amazing company and fabulous fashion! Cannot wait!!

I'd love to see you there!

OOTD: Florals and yellow hurrah!

So, I'm not going to rant your ear off about how much I love eShakti (which is crazy amounts!). I will however point you in the direction of where I've totally fan-girl-ed about them before - here, here and here! But seriously, with everything available in sizes 0 to 36, fully customizable, vintage styling, amazing prints and loads of different fabrics... what's not to rave about!? But yes,on to the fashion and stuff!

Top: Autograph
Skirt: eShakti c/o
Wedges: Lane Bryant
Clutch: ASOS via Curvy Cartel
Earrings: Real Diva's Are Large

This amazing ultra high waisted skirt just blows my mind. The print is absolutely divine, with those bold reds, greens and blues, you can pretty much dress it up with anything. The material is a thick crepe but without the weight, its still got plenty of movement without losing its shape.

The silhouette is amazing. I feel like I could be bum-wiggling around an office in Mad Men! I kept the length at a knee length for that feminine look but now that I have it, I love the idea that it can be shortened to a mini before you purchase. I would love that funky floral print in a cute little mini! Best bit of all though- pockets! A babe with pockets is pretty much unstoppable! ;)

I wore this outfit for a full day out on the town and at the end of the day, I was still comfy in this skirt! I wanted to play off the colours by adding this killer yellow ASOS clutch and Lane Bryant shoes. The clutch fits everything (even my ipad!) and is great for packing my whole life into. Mind you, with pockets I carry all those small essentials without (lippy, phone and keycard!) without having to even bother clawing around inside my clutch! Fashion winning!

OOTD: Belle Curve Cold Shoulder Dress

Last season's Belle Curve collection absolutely smashed it. It was fantastic to see Target Australia really pushing the envelope of plus-size design, while still making the pieces so incredibly affordable. With diverse textures from sequins to flocking, leather panels and bold prints, Belle Curve was a breath of fresh air for mainstream and accessible plus-fashion. When they emailed me about their new Dark Beauty range (which is on the shelves now), I jumped at the chance to get my hands on some of the new designs. The Anastasia Dress with the fabulous cold-shoulder detailing had my name all over it! Slipping into this beauty is like wearing my favourite pajamas, but sexy!

Dress: Belle Curve via Target (c/o)
Necklace and clutch: BooHoo

I adore the sheer and cold shoulder look. Its so instant chic. The high neckline also balances out the short hem and makes me feel both demure and like a minx. With fashion, my most important consideration is the way it makes me feel- and this dress hits all of those 'wonder' boxes.

Size wise, this is a 20, but I think the 22 would have had the extra room I needed to soften that belly cling. But its definitely not much of a deal, the 20 fits great up top, with a matching tie up belt for shape and that really, relaxed-yet-sexy cut to it that was so dominant in the first Belle Curve collection. Those amazing cuffs have an elasticated panel between the sequin detailing, so there were no issues getting them comfortably over my hands. And of course, the material is just heavy enough that you don't have to worry about any accidental 'caught in the wind' flashing.

Being black, it was easy to style the dress up. I wanted to highlight the colour of the sequins by adding the pink wedges and subtle green tones in the necklace. I had been dying to wear out this clear studded clutch but always felt so overexposed with the transparency of it (a girls handbag is like a window into her soul, clearly!). But I figured with so much already going on with this outfit, the clutch is just an added bonus as apposed to a statement- AND it makes my skin look that little less chalk white with its tan trimming!

I definitely recommend you pop over to the Target website to snap up some of these lasting, high trend Belle Curve pieces before they sell out! The team also sent me one of these rocking barque bodysuits and I'm super tempted to do a fierce 'All The Single Ladies' inspired blog post to go with it! What do you think??

Whats your favourite from the new Belle Curve collection?

OOTD: Brisbane Alternative Expo

Ben and I attended The Brisbane Alternative Expo on the weekend- a fabulous geeky explosion of local steam punk, Gothic, comic book and rockabilly goodness! A friend of ours owns an airbrushing company and invited us to go check out the expo last year. We had the best time and I discovered some amazing plus-size brands in the process (Including Geek Girl Collective- these babes ROCK!!)- so I was super excited to get amongst it all again this year!

Dress and Blazer: City Chic
Flatforms: Betts
Necklace and Belt: Forever 21

Sunnies: eQuip

The expo was also the perfect opportunity to rock these totally awesome platforms that I picked up in in the Betts Shoes sale. A big chunky form with funky thick cage toes- I knew they would fit in well with all the dressed-to-the-nines steampunk babes at the event!

I loved the way the purple geometric jacket looks with the black and white. These City Chic tunic dresses are so easy to wear and style up (I already have three in different prints- isn't that ridiculous?!), but it was just that little bit too short for all the bending over I had planned to be doing at the expo. I added my favourite We Love Colors stockings to prevent butt flashing- dude, these stockings are the best!
Lastly I added basic accessories with a 'satche and the metallic belt to match the jacket and I was ready to go Geek it up!

It was pretty hot inside the hall where the expo was held, so my jacket came off pretty fast. But by the time I'd done a loop around the stalls, I'd swapped the blazer for a moustache hair scarf, a dragon tattoo and a skull cameo brooch- awesomeness! AND! I've commissioned a totally rad moustache print fit and flare skirt! I cannot wait to show you all!

What do you think of geometric prints and colour??

Cut for Evans

When I saw the promo photos for the new Cut for Evans collection, I couldn't wait to get my hands on some!! Suger, Mel and I were chatting about it, planning out a group order- and we pretty much ended up getting the whole collection between us! We had been waiting for the perfect chance to get together and take photos of all of us wearing our awesome new threads- and this weekend was it! Ben and I had a little party to help choose the flavour of our wedding cake and it was the perfect chance for us to snap our piccys and Emma even got in on the action wearing my Scuba Dress!

Liv wears: Cut for Evans Midi tube skirt
Forever 21+ blouse
Target flatforms
Diva cat ears

Suger wears: Cut for Evans Knitted Skirt and Top
Target Wedges

Mel wears: Cut for Evans Abstract Print Trousers and Jersey Shirt

How smokin' hot does it all look together!! I love the bold prints and wicked colours- every item is such a standout, statement piece. The material of my midi skirt is absolutely divine- its silky, soft and a perfect summer weight. I couldn't resist adding this pink blouse, I loved the way the whole look is so punchy and bright!

OOTD: Zac's Wedding

On the weekend just gone, my immediate family all met up in Mackay for (what we thought was!) my eldest brothers wedding. We were told it was going to be a very casual affair and to come have some dinner, drinks and maybe a swim afterwards. As it turned out, the two tricksters had already tied the knot at the registry months before and this was just their party! Nonetheless, it was an awesome excuse for the two families to mingle and one of those rare occasion when you can get all my siblings and their partners in one room!

My three siblings. Blake, Me, Zac and Rhianna.

My crazy family!

The 'newly' weds!

Zac and Bec had told us to dress for a casual dinner and for the impressive North Queensland heat. I dug this dress out of the back of my wardrobe and was so glad I wore it- light, airy and super comfy. Plus it worked perfectly with this flower crown I'd been dying to wear!

Dress: old City Chic
Necklace and Flower Crown: Colette
Wedges: Target

There is something awesome about coral and purple together. I wanted to wear these mini-wedges with the dress for a little added height and I loved the way the colours smashed together. I threw on this necklace as a last minute decision and ended up being pretty happy about how it pulled the whole look into one. Sometimes the best outfits are the ones that just fall together!

(Oh hiya little blow-fly!! This really is tropical North Queensland!!)
