OOTD: Liv's Hens!

So playing catch-up, there have been so many awesome things happen over the last 6 weeks and I figure, to get you guys up to speed lets start at the top- my hens night! My bridesmaids Emma, Libby and Liss did such an amazing job organising the day, I cannot rave about them enough. I know when you choose your bridesmaids it's because they are your best friends, but seriously, these ladies are fantastic. My true soul mates, I don't know how I would live without them. AND they planned a totally awesome hens!

After having my make-up and hair done by local babes Tonic Beauty and Di's Hair Boutique, Emma picked me up in style with 'Bride To Be' written on the back of her car! She drove me over to Liss' place where the girls had organised some pre-going out drinks for the people who couldn't come out to the nights main festivities. There were penis shaped chocolates, snacks and all sorts of shenanigans. My favourite part was when the girls gave me a present of goodies with naughty paraphernalia for the night and a gorgeous wedding veil printed with 'Future Mrs Hahne' in pink glitter letters! Love those girls!!

After pre-shenanigans we grabbed a maxi taxi into the city and met up with a bunch of girlfriends there, ready to jump onto WILD BOYS AFLOAT, a mini cruise boat that does a few laps around the Brisbane river, providing drinks, dinner and a whole lot of man stripper awesome!

I'm not going to bore you guys with too many details but it was a fantastic night! Rather than going on and on, here are my happy snaps in (pretty much) chronological order:

My wonderful bridesmaids, Liss, Emma and Libby <3

On a side note, our outfits were totally not purposely matching, but how cute are we?!

Ben's mum Lynne and I playing with some penises. As you do.

Opening my amazing new veil the girls had made!

Ready to hit the town!

My mum and my future mum!

All my ladies, ready to get on board Wild Boys Afloat!
Couldn't miss us with our pink balloons and all! :-D

I didn't want to lose you all with two many photos from the strippers, so I figured I'd just do this snazzy little collage instead!

  Mmmmmmm, abs....

Dress: New Look Inspire
Stockings: We Love Colors
Necklace: Lovisa

Shoes: I can't remember what I wore and apparently I'd taken them off in these photos!

I pretty much tore my wardrobe to bits trying to decide what to wear and literally 20 minutes before I was supposed to be picked up, I found this New Look Inspire gem in the back of my closet. I'd bought this when we were in London during of HOLIDAY OF AWESOME trip in 2011, never found the occasion to wear it and then, somehow it got pushed to the back and forgotten about. And now it was unearthed at the perfect time! I felt super cute all night along. There is something about that wicked pink that just makes me feel like a superstar.

Since the dress is no longer available and I had so many people as about it on Instagram on the night, I've made a little list of some of similar pink dresses available now that you guys can check out.

Aussie Curves: Blue

Well hiya!! A blog post, no way! Hello from Crete! We have one more week left of our honeymoon and as you've no doubt noticed, the internet is pretty patchy put here. I've been slowing uploading these photos the last few days and I am just going to scrape in in time for Aussie Curve blue week.

Skirt: New Look Inspire
Top: Forever 21+

These piccies were taken up in the Meteora mountains above Athens, we spent the day exploring the monasteries and all the little walkways and trails between them.  Translating as 'suspended in the air' and 'in the heavens above', Meteora has such amazing scenery and breathtaking heights, it was an awesome day. Seeing places like this makes me realise how totally small we are in the world, it brings everything back into perspective.

To get into the monasteries I had to wear a long skirt and luckily, I stocked up when we were in Dubai at New Look (they have an amazingly well stocked plus-size range!). I actually bought four ankle length maxi-skirts on this trip, which has ended up being totally rad as I've worn them a lot. The material is  nice and breezy while the length covers my burn-easy white legs- perfect for this Mediterranean weather! Plus these skirts have pockets, that pretty much makes them the best skirts in existence. That and they come in coral, blue, tribal and floral print, clearly I had to buy them all- find them here

And there we go, my first blog post in a month, thanks for sticking with me, I've got some exciting collaborations in the works for when we get home! In the mean time, come check me out of Instagram and Facebook, I'd love chat to you guys there! Xx
