Fatshion Faceoff: Peter Pan Collar

Being the very organized bloggers that we are (!), us FF girls pick our weekly challengers quite a few months in advance now. The benefit of this is of course no last minute stress about theme picking, the problem is that the top I was totally obsessed about when I choose Peter Pan collar for this week, I'm no longer fussed about! Sooooooo I've gone back through my wardrobe and chosen an old favourite to pair with a new beauty!!

Skirt: Harlow
Peplum Belt: ASOS Curve
Bracelet: Torrid
Flats: Rubi

I have been lusting after pretty much everything on the Harlow website since their launch this year. I finally got my hands on this awesome skirt from Suger when she visited for my birthday party and I've worn it quite a few times since! I love the feel of the material and the smooth silhouette it gives, its really, really great quality. Sizing wise, this is a 20 and I could really do with a size bigger, purely for the grip over my belly, but there is no issues at all with comfort.

I loooooovvveee the print on this awesome Dorothy Perkins top!! It seems to make everything look cute (check it out here!!)! It always makes me think of that Lady GaGa and Beyonce Telephone song. Love it!!!

Make sure you check out all my ladies!!

Fatshion Faceoff: Monochrome

I've tried really hard to pull my wardrobe out of a black and white slump. Before plus-size fashion truly came into its own over the last few years, it was too easy to just buy black and white (or mostly black with white detailing) clothes- mainly because that was all that was available. Well, black or giant over-sized floral muumuus, which frankly, don't look fabulous on anyone regardless of size! So, when wearing black and white now, I love making it look classic and chic instead of like a forced option.

Skirt: City Chic
Lace peplum: Dorothy Perkins
Flats: Rubi
Body Chain: Real Divas Are Large

Real Divas Are Large have the best accessories. Without a doubt. They had an awesome 50% off store wide sale this week, so I've just snapped up a few more rad body chains similar to this one. Whenever I'm looking to add a proper punch to an outfit, I always put on one of these necklaces, they are so uber eye catching!

This Dorthy Perkins peplum top is fab! I love the little lace detailing over the shoulders. How totally awesome are body con skirts?! And peplum. Siiiggghhh. I have to stop myself from over spamming your blog feeds with peplum and body-con outfits.

And as always, please check out all the FF babes in their monochrome this week!

Fatshion Faceoff: Red Dress

Red dresses are my thing. You know how they say ' oh blah lag is my Homeboy!'. Well, red dresses are mine. They always have my back. There is something about slipping a smoking' hot red dress on that makes me feel like the sexiest young thing in the room. When my choice for FF theme came up I chose red dress without hesitation, all while envisioning myself in some smouldering eye makeup and killer heels. Despite these imaginations, for this week challenge I didn't end up tearing up the dance floors in my little, tight and jaw dropping red dress, instead I was out for a civilised dinner in my 1950's inspired colour block red dress!

Belt: New Look Inspire
Bag: Vintage Glomesh
Flats: Crocs

I'm sometimes a hit and miss with Dorothy Perkins' size 22. But boy oh boy, when it's a hit, it's a HIT! I fell in love with this dress the minute I slipped it on. The shape, the cut, the colours the neckline print! Swwwooonnnn! I literally audibly sighed in the change rooms. The poor chick next to me must have thought I was up to no good with the handsome bearded man who had been carrying my bags around ;)

I added the belt because the coral seems to deliciously balance out the red and subtle burnt orange. And then the bold yellow necklace pops against the black and of course (*ahem* the real reason is) I can't seem to control myself when it comes to 'stache accessorising ;)

Now I know the crocs have been seeing a lot of blog love lately, but they are just so damn comfortable and cute I can't help it! Go try some on stat!!

And now of course to check out all my lovely and babely red-dressed FF chickies!

Fatshion Faceoff: Studded Bag

Studded bags seem to be everywhere at the moment! I've been lusting after so many of them and when I went to do this challenge- it turns out I don't own one! I do however have a pretty funky spiked necklace, so I whipped that up into a cute clutch!

Skirt: eShakti
Necklace on the bag: some random boutique store in The Valley

I think you all know by now how much I love eShakti. This skirt is one of those purchases that I know is a long term investment, its so easy to wear and goes with so much. It also has a really gorgeous vintage shape and is super light and Summery.

I think the handbag ended up looking really cute! The mix of lace, chain and spiked rocked! Seriously though, these studded bags are everywhere! Here are a few I've been drooling over lately.

I'm totally loving all the ring clutches. Even better- I can actually get my chubby fingers through them! ;)

How cute is this Dorothy Perkins Peter-Pan collar telephone top. They have some mega cute printed tops on their website- I caved and bought this one in one of their awesome sales!

Dorothy Perkins Love

I am more than a little in love with Dorothy Perkins. While we were travelling in the UK I was super excited to be able to get into a DP store and try some of their pieces on- even more exciting, they had a sale so I came home with a few dresses too!!! :-D

I've been doing some serious window shopping at their on-line shop lately and mega lusting after Mamma Moon's epic Dorothy Perkins Wardrobe!). So, when a VIP 25% off code became available, I jumped on it straight away!!! Now, the issue is-how do I narrow down my wish list?!? Here are some of my favourite pieces at the moment:

I adore the structured cut of their dresses and skirts. They sit so gorgeously on curves and flatter every body shape! They almost make me want to get a secretary job so I can wear them everyday! ;)

I can't get enough of their cute blouses and embellished tops. Plus, I'm still shoe hunting for FFFWeek and think some of these beauties will be comfy and fabulous!

To get 25% off your full order at Dorothy Perkins enter the code DPVIPE at checkout!!!
(code until 20/05/12)

And tell me what some of your favourite items are!!?!?!

Lust List- Pyjama Party

Pajama Party

I love my pyjamas. I love sitting, slouching, shopping, veging, painting, hanging, chilling, drinking, eating and slobbing in my PJ's. They are without a doubt, the item in my wardrobe that gets the best workout. I have an awesome pair of Oscar the Grouch lounge pants, which have literally travelled the world with me (or as much as I've explored anyway) and I can't bare to throw them out. Every winter I get new pair of fluffy slippers and I rock them until they get holes in them. This is this winters pair:

Working in a children's hospital, I look after lots of newborns all squishy and warm in their little Bonds Wondersuit Onsies. Well, when I found these totally rad pink fluffy plus-size lookalikes from Pajamagram, they were instantly added to my lust list! I love a good fluffy dressing grown (something Ben and I both hang in all winter) and for $19 (?!?!?) this one rules; and the little 'Somebody Spank Me' pink and green PJ set is uber cute.

Dorothy Perkins is having a big sell-out of a lot of their PJ sets at the moment too, so the matching tank with long pants set and the butterfly cami, only come to about $45 total.

City Chic have a really sexy range of PJ's at the moment (see above); and although more boudoir than every day, they still rock. I couldn't help but feature the Sparkle Mesh Babydoll on my lust list, and drool over these other two gorgeous, sexy cami's (or is that Ben's drooling????).
