Fatshion Faceoff: Scarf

This weeks Fatshion Faceoff challenge item is a scarf. The first thing that comes to my mind when I think of scarves is our Holiday of Awesome over in the UK; primarily because I lived in a woolly scarf for the whole 7 weeks! Refer to ridiculous picture of the dumb Australian tourist all rugged up yet wearing flip-flops...

Even though it's definitely getting chillier over here, it's never quite cool enough to whip this beauty out in Brisbane. So, I thought the best thing to do for this week's Fatshion Faceoff is to show you how I wear a light scarf for our mild winters!

Dress: ASOS Curve
Scarf: Best and Less
Flats: Stolen from my sister

One of my favourite things about a light and wide scarf, is that you can wear it a million ways. For chilly afternoons- throw it over your shoulders.

As a fashion accessory, grab it on the go and sling it around your neck. A fab pattern like this is already such a statement piece that you need little else to keep a chic look.

For some extra warmth- layer it up! I've even been guilty of using mine as a mini picnic rub in the park!

And of course for windy days- take some notes from classic glamour icons  and wrap it over your hair!

Check out the other Fatshion Faceoff girls to see how they rock their scarves too!

  8. It's cold in Brisbane!??

Perth is freaky - freezing in the morning and then it's super hot in the day then drops back to freezing at night. Shiverrr. Rains all the time. I wear a scarf out and within the hour it's too hot! blahhhhhhh

ps wearing a scarf and thongs is contradictory!? lol but sooo cute, please incl that scarf in an upcoming outfit!!!

    xx

  14. Haha! This is SUCH a cute post! And love the versatility of a simple scarf! I've got tonnes, and my boyfriend is always telling me I don't need anymore. But much like a good pair of shoes - you can never have too many!
