I adore the look of a high neck bow. I feel instantly dressed up (and funnily enough- grown up) the minute I put one on. So for this weeks Fatshion Faceoff chosen by me, I picked my favourite girly style- the pussy bow top!
I had wanted this skirt for soooooo long! I couldn't control myself with the jacket (check it out here!) and bought it full price, but just snapped up the skirt for almost 70% in the recent Virtu sales! This was its first wear and being such a fab feminine shape, I thought it would look perfect with my pussy-bow top!
As it turns out, the particular top I was going to wear is missing. So I improvised and added this little satin belt to one of my tops- I think it ended up looking great!
The cute Pandora bracelet was a present from my sister for Christmas, I really like how delicate and different it is. Funnily enough, right before I opened this pressie I had just winged loud and annoyingly about how expensive Pandora charms are. Awkward lol ;)
Can't wait to see all the Fatshion Faceoff babes in their pussy-bow tops!

What a nice skirt, I love the pattern, perfect to bright up a day!
ReplyDeleteI sure love it to! I have a matching blazer but they are a little floral-overload together! xx
Deletejolie tenue et superbe sourrir !
ReplyDeletejoyeux noel avec du retard ;o)
Love the top - didn't realise it was a DIY bow until you said, thought it was part of your shirt! Works well with the floral pencil skirt too :)
ReplyDeleteThat pandora bracelet is a lovely gift :) One year I spent days whining to DH that needed to upgrade my camera and I wanted a camera that took normal batteries so I could replace them when I wanted, instead of being stuck with a camera with a specialised battery that always needed charged. Well, he'd bought me a cannon with their special batteries for Christmas...oops! But I love it, and it's only let me down a few times by running out of charge and that's not bad. It was a great gift despite my previous grumbles ;)

lol awkward post whinge gifting is the best lol
DeleteSuch a pretty skirt on you - I love the print. I really love pussy bow tops too - I got a new sewing book for Christmas that has a pussy bow top pattern. Perhaps I should tackle that first! ;)
ReplyDeleteooohhh I'd love to see one of those finished! :-D xx
DeleteYour top is gorgeous, you would never guess it was DIY. I love me a pussybow top!#
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good Christmas! :)
Thankyou!! Hope yours was good too! xx

ReplyDeletelol how lovely to hear your opinion Anonymous :)
DeleteAbsolutely adorable!!!!
ReplyDeleteAwkward indeed. Haha. You look GREAT!
ReplyDeleteActually Liv, I agree with Anonymous. Though it would have been more useful to explain why. I think the problem is the sorry is a bit too long and the cut doesn't suit your shape. Perhaps it's the combination of a quite high neck with a lot of lower body coverage? I don't know, I'm a fashion retard! I just know every time I wear a pussy bow top it makes me feel enormous with that neckline around my boobs.
ReplyDeleteI love your response to anonymous! Pandora beads are ridiculously expensive, but other brand's beads should fit on the bracelet too - I love Chamilia's and Michael Hill's beads. :)
ReplyDeleteVery interesting blog, looking forward to more wonderful! Swarovski outlet uk store
