Fatshion Faceoff: Green shirt

So, I want to start off by saying I'm totally bummed that the shirt looks so blue in these photos. I swear in real life it's quite bright green. In fact, one of the reasons I bought it is because it's such an awesome green. So, colour aside, the shirt is actually Ben's- a bargain buy from our holiday. 80% of Ben's wardrobe was bought while we were on holidays. Clothes are so crazy expensive in Australia, it's almost worth the plane fare just for the shopping!

Top: Van Heusen (Ben's shirt)
Under skirt: City Chic
Over skirt: Forever 21+
Clutch: ASOS via Vintage Cartel
Moustache chain: ASOS
Eagle necklace: Colette

I've been looking for a skirt to wear underneath this sheer Forever 21+ maxi. It was a total fluke that I paired it with this City Chic tulip skirt and I'm loving it! It's such a feminine shape and looks fab with the floaty top layer. It's also amazingly comfy and easy to wear, even with the double layers.

I'm obsessed with necklace layering at the moment. I go through phases with jewellery, currently, it's definitely a necklace phase! I was so excited about this long moustache chain that I accidentally bought it twice!

This post has made me realise that I rarely own any green. Or orange. Ben has the best collection of rad coloured shirts. It's funny, but I always feel most girly when I'm borrowing his clothes.

Check out all the green shirted FF babes!

Aussie Curves: Colour Clash

Whenever I think about colour clashing, I always imagine a bunch of different toned colours in the same family. I was always really careful about either directly matching my colours, or wearing completely different ones- I would never wear different hues of the same one! That's so not fashionable!!! GASP!! Well, here is what I think about that these days! ;)

Dress and Blazer: Forever 21+
Earrings: Real Divas are Large (clip-ons)
Flats: Rubi
Handbag: eBay

I love all the blue hues- turquoise, navy, cerulean! Oh and then some yellow earrings. And a bright brown bag. Yes. I think that's enough colour clashing for one day! I added the blazer for a little bit more warmth on these wintery, windy days. I guess you could call it a boyfriend blazer. With a relaxed fit, plenty of arm space and the toasty feel of it, I always feel like I'm slipping into a comfy jumper rather than a structured blazer!

I'm obsessed with these earrings. Finding funky clip-ons is pretty much one of my favourite past times. And worst indulgences! The handbag was a little internet find, I wasn't sure how I would wear it but I couldn't resist!

How do you colour clash??

FFFWeek: Denim and Diamonds

Phew! What a month its been! I am so grateful to everyone who followed along on our trip, your IG comments made every photo worth while! And as much as it rocks holidaying around the world- nothing beats my own comfy bed and the view from my balcony. Its so great to be home.

Now, I know I have been a very bad blogger for the past four weeks. So be prepared for the onslaught of FFFWeek posts to come!

The first event of Full Figured Fashion Week is always my favourite. It's so rad catching up, gossiping, meeting and socializing with the amazing people in the plus size community. I honestly don't think you could meet a more genuine and accepting group of people. Meeting up with them all at the Denim and Diamonds launch party was definitely one of the weeks highlights!

It was so SO rad hanging out with these ladies! Like last year hanging with Bec, Britt and Gaelle made the trip for me! <3

Mouna made the FF girls the coolest little bags with our logo on them! How totally rad is that?!

Meeting up with Hanna, Dani and Mouna from Fatshion Faceoff was fabulous! It was totally awesome meeting these babes!

Held at The Stellan, there wasn't quite enough space for all the dancing I was ready for, but the drinks were great and the bar was fast! And although I missed the canapés that were floating around, I heard they were quite yummy! Most impaortantly, there were lots of cuddles and laughs- literally like reuniting with old friends!

And I knew exactly what I was going to wear to this event. Peplum, jeans and jewels!

Top: City Chic
Jeans: Torrid
Flats: Payless
Clutch: Target
Ring: Diva

So day one of FFFWeek! Check back for the Curves for a Cure event!
