Fatshion Faceoff: Strapless item

Fatshion Faceoff this week has us all out in strapless! If you're a regular reader (hiiiiii I love  you!!) you've probaly noticed I wear a lot of strapless clothes!! I find it quite funny really because I was always told not to when I was growing up- 'it's not flattering on a plus-size body...'. Pffffff! I love my strapless tops!!

I love the polka dots on this top, they reminds me of circus clowns- so I stuck these funky moustache suspenders on to! I love them soooooo much! I am so looking forward to Movember this year- I've amassed a serious stash of staches! (lol see what I did there! ;)

This is our last day in the USA, I sure will miss this glorious sunny weather! I love rocking as little as possible in Summer! ;)

I'm sad to say that Molly has left our FF posts, at least for a little while for uni. I'm bummed to see her leave but can't wait to see what she's up to next! In the mean time, check out my other fabulous ladies and see their strapless tops tops too!

OOTD: Movember Gala Party

The annual Movember Gala Party is one of our favourite yearly events to attend. Held at the end of Movember is all major cities, the Gala is always a fantastic night out! People show off their hard grown mo's in amazing costumes and get to compete in the MO Competion for titles such as: Best Team Mo, Mo Sista, Best Mo, Best Costume and The Man of Movember. These our some of our happy snaps from the wild night out!

Held at Cloudland in the Valley, the Brisbane Gala paraded some very fabulous Mo's! It was the biggest Movember Party we have attended to date- the place was packed, the music was pumping and the venue was rad! The above Mo Bro's were all nominated for one of the awards and the dapper gentlemen with the monocle took the coveted Best Mo of the Night award.

All in all it was another awesome night out! The epic orange Obelix (from the comic Asterix), very deservingly won the Man of Movember Brisbane 2011 and will go on to compete in the Australia wide competition.

I was amazed to read that as a country, Australia raised almost twenty-four million dollars toward the Movember Foundation this November!!!!!! Awesome work to everyone who participated, donated, supported and put up with a foul porn mo this 'stache season!!

Movember and my beard love

Movember moustache season is definitely upon us. Now, I'm all for the cause- by growing facial hair throughout November, men all over the world can raise funds and awareness about men's health, prostate cancer and depression; BUT....my handsome boyfriend grows foul facial fuzz worthy of a true 1970's porn star.

I love a good beard and Ben normally sports a full face of jealousy-inspiring beard fur. In fact, his beard growing skills are so epic, he has sported some mighty fine styles over the years we have been together:

 Goatee beard, furry beard, crazy beard, safety first beard, even Ron Jeremy mo! And sadly in Movember, he goes from this.... to this...and then THIS!

Yes, this is my boyfriend. And yes, he is 'here to cleeeaannn thee pooollll.'

...........And for goodness sake, may this month hurry up so I can have my handsome (and hairy!) man back!!
