Fatshion Faceoff: Statement Belt

Statement belts are my go to for easy to buy, cheap outfit wowers! They can take an ordinary ensemble to a punchy new level. And they draw attention to my favourite body part- my waist!

Top: City Chic
Skirt and Belt: ASOS Curve
Necklace: eQuip
Clutch: Target
Flats: Kmart

ASOS Curve have the coolest collection of rad plus-size belts- and often they are reduced or on special! This little beauty has a fab metal plate detail and spikes on either side. I love the way the spikes add that tough edge to an otherwise girly outfit. Aside from their belts, I'm also horribly guilty of snapping up almost all of ASOS' body-con skirts (like this one), they give such fabulous shape and are ultra comfortable!

I know that we will all be so different, so I can't wait to see how everyone has styled their belts!

  1. I love the belt, I've been eyeing that belt on asos for awhile and I think it looks great on you. I really think it pulls your whole outfit together. I really like the peplum top with the bodycon skirt. :)

  3. that is such an awesome belt! It's fantastic with the peplum top too :)

My absolute favourite thing with this outfit though is how you're wearing red and green and it doesn't look like Christmas - I can NEVER achieve that!
