Fatshion Faceoff: Printed Top/Dress

There are so many amazing animal shape printed tops around at the moment. Most of all I'm totally loving all the doggy print ones! But I guess I will always be a sucker for bird print!

Jeans: Torrid
Necklace: eBay

I have quite a few bird print tops/dresses. I think I like them because they remind me freedom and flying. What caught my eye about this one was the funky ruffles. Unlike the colour pink, plunging necklines and tight fitting clothes, its a style that has always stayed uniquely feminine. As much as I enjoy us all pushing the stereotypical boundaries of gender styling, it's still nice to be able to put something on and feel instantly girly.

Now I know that I've been wearing jeans far too much lately. But to be complete honest, it's just these amazing Torrid Stiletto jeans. I literally never want to take my arse out of them. I now have four pairs in different colours and lengths  I never really understood why people would wear them so often, I always thought jeans were constricting and uncomfortable. But these Torrid jeans truly are amazing. They feel like second skin and look like a million bucks! Even this faded pair. Before, if I was invited to a faded-jeans event I would have rather missed the party than be seen with my thighs in light coloured jeans. So if you haven't tried them on yet- go do it before I buy them all!!!

Check out all the Fatshion Faceoff babes in their animal print tops and dresses!

  1. You look adorable as usual, and I really like the colorful rings and necklace with the more neutral blue top.

  2. Even thought my number one pair of Torrid jeans are the curvy skinny jeans (they fit me like a freaking glove),I'm addicted to my stiletto jeans too. Usually with jeans you have to trade comfort for fit but not with these! They feel as comfortable as leggings but they don't sag the way stretchy jeans normally do.

  4. You look adorable as always, I'm envious of your feet in flip flops, it's entirely too cold for me to wear my flip flops this time of year... even though I still do sometimes. Winter flip flop wearing is a wonderland for me (...not really haha). I personally always steered away from faded jeans because I was afraid it would highlight my legs which aren't in the best shape but I recently picked up a pair of destroyed faded jeans and I looove them! My boyfriend is a fan of them as well but no surprise there really, men like seeing skin? NEVERS! Animal prints? Definitely, although the only animal print I have is a pink flamingo tank top. I'm trying to work in more prints in my wardrobe, I'm especially finding myself wanting florals lately.

  8. I think jeans are difficult to understand until you find that pair that work for you. Its a struggle and then you stock up! Pretty outfit as always. :)
