Fatshion Faceoff this week is one of my current new loves- the pencil skirt! Being rounder in the middle than everywhere else, I've always had a love-hate-relationship with pencil skirts but there are so many gorgeous ones available right now, that I've actually been wearing one quite a lot!
I took these pictures down on the boardwalk near where we are living now. I'm making the most of the bay before we move to our new house next month. I'm really looking forward to sharing our house with you guys- it has great OOTD feng shui! ;)
Can't wait to see where all the Fatshion Faceoff babes are wearing their pencil skirts this week!
Skirt: City Chic
Top: City Chic
Slips: Rubi Shoes
There is something about a pencil skirt that I absolutely love. They give such a feminine silhouette and really draw the eye to your waist. City Chic have a really fab range of pencil skirts at them moment, I picked up one in red animal print that I'm dying to wear out!

You look fantastic, I love this skirt. X x
ReplyDeleteSuch a great skirt! I also love pencil skirts, but I have a love/hate relationship with them too. Mostly due to the fact I have wide hips and have this weird thing about that. You look so stunning though, it makes me want to get over my phobia so I can wear a pencil skirt too!
ReplyDeleteI felt exactly the same way as you! This is such a gorgeous outfit :) x
ReplyDeleteI too have a love hate relationship with pencil skirts but I have to admit this one is beautiful! It has a very flattering fit and I love the stripes! This post has inspired me to try on a pencil skirt the next time I hit the stores! :)

Very cute! Especially that bow belt - I die! I am in dire need of a black one to wear with peplum tops!
ReplyDeleteyou look hotttt!! so beautiful xx
ReplyDeleteLove this look, you look very va-va-voom. I haven't worn a pencil skirt in years, I tried on one though recently and I liked it (it was blue cheetah print) but I didn't end up getting it, I'm so self conscious about my belly area :( The pencil skirt I had years ago was satiny and I use to wear it with a cute white tank, I got hoot and hollered at every time I wore it *le sigh* I miss my figure from back then.
