My favourite: chambry and denim

I'm a big fan of denim. Maybe not as much as Suger, but I would definitely say I'm a fan. Finding the perfect pair of jeans can revolutionize your wardrobe- they pretty much go with everything and can be dressed up or down with ease. Hunting down that elusive pair that sits right, fades right and is still comfy was always my yearly goal. But to be honest, I'm not really a pants fan. Of course I love my jeans, but there are so many other denim pieces that can give your outfit that same killer-chic vibe.

My favourite: denim and chambry

So first off lets start with the basics: denim shorts, a skater skirt and a classic denim shirt. These three simple pieces are a game changer. I love this sleeveless, spotted shirt, you can tie it into a crop to wear with midi-skirts or even style it up with some darker denim. Playsuits and jumpsuits are everywhere lately and this 17 Sundays boiler suit is the top of my lust list! The fit, the cut! It's divine!

The faded romper from Yours Clothing is another one of my must have pieces. I saw Tess Holliday modeling this a few months before it was released and I fell for it straight away! I can see this piece at the beach, out for lunch or dressed up with some tights and a jacket for drinks on the town!

If you're new to denim or don't want to go for a full chambray look, there are funky little accessories around too. A bag, a hat, denim belt or shoes; any of these will blend seamlessly into an outfit. Or better yet, break up the denim with another detail like NYATA's sequin Shifty Thing- denim and sequins, yes please!

L -R: elbow patch jumper, romper, shift dress, t-shirt dress, denim joggers

The most import at thing about denim is comfort. Easy wear t-shirt dresses, elbow patches and slouchy joggers, these are comfort to me! Somewhere in your wardrobe, you must have a denim dress. An easily thrown on shift dress, your favourite shoes add a necklace and bang- instant denim chic!

I love darker denim most of all. Deep navy and rich blues give any outfit that dressed up feel. Even denim shorts can look dressy in a darker wash. I own one of the Hope and Harvest denim zip off jackets and I wear it all the time. When I'm not wearing it, it's because someone has borrowed it!

Long sleeveless vests are having a massive comeback and this ASOS version is just perfect! Throw it over a dress, mini skirt or leggings for an easy layered look.

How do you wear denim?

Hanna's Evans Scarlett & Jo outfit challenge!

Hanna's Evans Scarlett & Jo outfit challenge!

If you haven't already seen, Hanna from The Wardrobe Challenge is celebrating her first blog-anniversary at the moment, and that means lots of wonderful giveaways!! Usually I just love reading about the winners, but with a £100 gift-voucher for the Evans Scarlett and Jo collection up for grabs, I couldn't resist!!!

In order to enter, you had to style up an outfit based around one Scarlett & Jo statement piece. I chose the red/coral cowl neck tunic as my main item, which I would wear over the patterned black jaquard jeans. I then styled it up into the modern rock-boho look that I'm crazy into right now. I added the studded jacket to toughen the look up a bit which is then balanced by the colour block coral heels and feminine accessories (stacked bracelets! oohhh yeah!). And of course just a fabulous bra and a side bag and I'm ready to go! Perfect for wandering around little boutique shops in West End before meeting my girlfriends for cocktails!

How would you style the coral tunic???
Have you checked out Hanna's competitions yet??

The Summer time sales are driving me crazy! My inbox is full of tempting emails, the shops have huge gorgeous % off signs and every brand seems to have something new and exciting! I'm trying my absolute bestest to behave and not spend- but I sure have been doing a whole lot of window shopping!

Colette Natasha Cross Body Bag 6. Shop Emerald City Rainbow Dash Leggings 7. City Chic Strappy Colourwash Top 8. Virtu Harlequin Skirt

Every time Domino Dollhouse come out with a new collection, I get even more suprised! Part one of their new Astralnauts range has just been announced and I am totally in love with the babydoll dresses!! This galaxy print is amazing!

So how amazingly awesome are these Jelly Beans Sandals!! I had a pair when I was about 10- but now I can get adult sized ones!!! And in Pinkalicious?!??! YAYYYYY!!!

Virtu make the most perfect skirts. The shape, quality and style make these beauties a definite investment. I've been looking for a fitted, striped pencil skirt for ages. They are such an effortlessly chic wardrobe essential.

Soooo, haven't seem me online for a while? It's probably because I've gotten lost on Modcloth.  This totally rad country cookie cutter is half the price that I saw it in a local shop! There is something for everyone on that website, so if you're stuck for Chrissy presents- jump online now! But make sure you set an alarm because your window shopping time will fly by!

I audibly squealed when I saw that Cult of California had released a party-wear Holiday collection. With peplum, velvet, sheer panels and sequins I want two of everything! Even better, the intuitive designs have funky added details like inbuilt chafe shorts- GENIUS!!

Lust List: Packing for FFFW

It's just over a month until we depart on our USA Adventure and I am getting super excited about Full Figured Fashion Week! But, also super worried about limiting my wardrobe down into one bag (maybe I could take two, the extra luggage charge couldn't be too expensive, right?? Right?!?!?!)

I'm trying to be really decisive and firm; I always pack too much, even for just a weekend away I seem to end up with a bag full of enough stuff to clothe a small village. Nonetheless, there are a few extra special things I want to take with me, here are a few things on my wish-list right now:

Kate Hill Luggage Set, Betts Nicola Glitter Wedge, Praslin Mocha Sweetheart Dress, Torrid Zebra Print One Piece, Apple iPad, City Chic Miss Perfect Dress, City Chic Selina Sparkle Maxi

I've been (literally) drooling over this Kate Hill luggage set for almost a year and now they are on sale for less than half price! Oh yes. They will be mine.

I know I shouldn't buy too many new things (what with all the fabulous shopping I intend to do over there) but these Betts wedges call to me. 'Liiiiiiiiivvvvvv, we are so pretty! Please don't leave us all lonely in the shops!'. And they sparkle, ohh yeah!

This Praslin Sweetheart dress is so beautiful! It has sophistication and funk! I'd love to be rocking it in NYC!

With all the swimming and shenanigans we plan to get up to in Vegas, I definitely need a new swimming suit! I fell in love with this Torrid one piece immediately! Torrid have the most rad swimwear!

Okay, so I know it's not an everyday buy, but it's my birthday in two weeks I really want an iPad (a girl can dream right). Blog on the go, take high-def movies, travel with it, play music on it- what's not to love!!!

City Chic have some amazing dresses in thier new collection! I can see both these pieces rocking out at FFFWeek! The Miss Perfect dress is such a versatile dress and the Selina maxi would be perfect for some of those more formal events. Siiiggghhhhhhhh

What are you lusting after at the moment????

Are you heading to Full Figured Fashion Week??? I'd love to catch up with you guys!

Lust List: Valentines Day

With Valentines Day quickly approaching, it's a perfect excuse to pick up some new lingerie! I feel super sexy and feminine when wearing lingerie and pretty underwear. Now, I admit that I am not always amazingly fashionable (daggy PJ's, mis-matched socks and occasionally even Crocs), but I ALWAYS have pretty undies on! You know that old saying about making sure you've got nice knickers in case you have a car accident? I figure that not only do I feel fabulous in sexy underwear, you also never know when you might be hanging out (ripped your pants, stepped on your skirt, tucked your top into your undies, too drunk???); so why not make it the best butt possible! ;)

Style369.com have a gorgeous range of separates and matching underwear sets. With cute prints, lace detailing, ribbons and bows, these sets sex-up underwear without taking you too far out of your comfort zone if you're a fab-undie virgin.

Torrid rock the plus-size lingerie. No matter what the season, you are guaranteed to find an amazing piece of smoking hot night wear that will look gorgeous on you at Torrid. I have raved several times about how much I love their lingerie collections; I have about 10 sets to my name already that I have even worn as tops and out on the town! If you haven't bought a piece yet- DO IT NOW!!!! (plus they are all on special for Valentines Day!)

City Chic have some really cute cami's as well as some sexy little night pieces. I have a few of thier PJ combos which are super flirty and comfy!

Hips and Curves have an amazing range of plus-size halters, garters, cami's and costumes. I adore their super sexy costume cross lingerie outfits- I want everything!! How rocking are these three ensembles!

And of course, Domino Dollhouse! With the recently released Valentine Vamp Lingerie Collection, Domino Dollhouseis is rocking my world with the gorgeous vintage inspired pieces. I can't wait to get my hands on some!

Do you have any favourite lingerie or sexy wear you bring out for special occasions?? Are you a daggy undie woman or sexy undie woman???

Lust List- Retr-ooohhhh!

I'm loving the pin-up look and have been more that a little obsessed with Pin Up Girl Clothing's range for ages. My lust list this week is definitely inspired by their amazing dresses and their pin up look (something Torrid is rocking at the moment too!).

(L-R) Dress: Torrid, Dress: Torrid, Dress: No Xceptions, Dress: No Xceptions, Skirt: Domino Dollhouse, Shoes: Shoe Candy, Ring: Torrid, Shoes: Pin-Up Girl Clothing, Shoes: Shoe Candy, Sunnies: Domino Dollhouse

I think this 'Sinner/Saint' necklace from Pin Up Girl Clothing is so amazing- I can imagine it with so many outfits. And I'm totally lusting over these oh-so-sexy back seam stockings from The Pin-Up Peep Show. I think one of the things I love about the pin-up look, is that it's gorgeous women totally owning their banging hips and curves!

These two gorgeous outfits are also from P.U.P.S and they are both just so classically sexy! A bit of (faux) fur on a shoulder shrug, and the sailor style, siiiiggghhhhhhh

Lust List

Lust List

So I've been sick the last few days and have been sitting at home feeling very sorry for myself. Nothing makes me feel better quite like an imaginary on-line shopping spree! These are my current Lust List items, and I feel so much better just from looking at them all gathered together :)

My favourite item on there would have to be the Kate Hill pink crocodile luggage bag. Yum Yum! And it's currently reduced from $280 to $70!! Awesome! Although the moustache necklace from Torrid ($12- sweeeeett) sure does rock, I can imagine wearing it with so many funky outfits- it would also be a rad accessory to wear to Movember!

I love the two ASOS caramel leather belts. The one with the pouch is so cool. I think I would feel like Indiana Jones while wearing it. I'm sure I would store all sorts of life saving, temple of dooming, adventure having goodness inside it.  That would be $32 well spent- clearly I need it.

I am trying to get more into heels and pumps; I love them but I just can't go the distance. I have an amazing collection of such rocking heels and although I have really good intentions, I always end up switching back to some trusty cute flats before the night is through. I'm always on the lookout for some cool, different shoes and I was super impressed with these Vivienne Westwood jelly like slips- super cute! I also thought these ASOS leather patents were awesome. I can see them with some bright tights and a cute short dress. Ohhhhh yeahhhhh.......
