Hopefully you saw the rocking Torrid bandage dress I was wearing a few weeks back? If not, well that is the amazing dress I was planning to wear for this post. One of the best things about living is Australia is its beautiful tropical weather. As it turns out, Spring has well and truly hit with 30 degree plus days and horrendous humidity; so as gorgeous as that dress is, it's just to bloody hot to wear it!
Fatshion Faceoff this week called for a body-con dress. And instead of the all-out sexy look I was planning, here is body-con dress for the everyday wear!
It's so easy to wear bangin' body-con out on the town, but for everyday wear it runs the risk of looking a little trashy. This City Chic tunic dress is pretty much totally skin tight, there is a small amount of flare in the very base of the skirt but that's it. It totally hugs my chest and hips but is balanced out by the floaty kimono jacket and tights.
The dress is also quite low-cut when worn with a good bra, so I tried to ease the boobness with a large statement necklace. I've worn this dress out quite a few times as a full on skanked up version, but I love it in a more relaxed way as its comfy to wear and super versatile as a layering piece.
