Hanna's Evans Scarlett & Jo outfit challenge!

Hanna's Evans Scarlett & Jo outfit challenge!

If you haven't already seen, Hanna from The Wardrobe Challenge is celebrating her first blog-anniversary at the moment, and that means lots of wonderful giveaways!! Usually I just love reading about the winners, but with a £100 gift-voucher for the Evans Scarlett and Jo collection up for grabs, I couldn't resist!!!

In order to enter, you had to style up an outfit based around one Scarlett & Jo statement piece. I chose the red/coral cowl neck tunic as my main item, which I would wear over the patterned black jaquard jeans. I then styled it up into the modern rock-boho look that I'm crazy into right now. I added the studded jacket to toughen the look up a bit which is then balanced by the colour block coral heels and feminine accessories (stacked bracelets! oohhh yeah!). And of course just a fabulous bra and a side bag and I'm ready to go! Perfect for wandering around little boutique shops in West End before meeting my girlfriends for cocktails!

How would you style the coral tunic???

Fatshion Faceoff: Biker Jacket

I have one leather look biker jacket and I love it to bits. Its one of my all time favorite versatile pieces and what I instantly thought about for this weeks Fatshion Faceoff challenge!

Jacket: City Chic
Dress: Torrid
Tights: Big W
Necklace: Modcloth
Brogues: Rivers

Rather than doing a usual tough look, I girl-ed it up with the dress, lace tights and flats. I actually wore this outfit out shopping yesterday with a floral cardi- then in the evening switched it up for the leather biker jacket. I love the contrast of textures and materials. Plus that jacket rocks my socks so I love it with anything!

If you haven't already noticed, I loooooooovvveee a statement necklace! I stumbled upon this funky little Unicorn Prance Party necklace on Modcloth and bought it straight away!!! It's the perfect length, sometimes that can be a risk online shopping! There is nothing worse than ordering something that looks perfect online and then it ends up being super short and looking weird.

Check out all the babelicious biker jacket-ed Fatshion Faceoff ladies!

Aussie Curves: Swimwear

This Aussie Curves post is perfect timing for the week we just spent on the beach at Hamilton Island! I've pretty much lived in my togs for the whole trip so these piccys were snapped on a not so special mid-week morning in paradise!

Swimmers: Lily and Lou via Best and less
Board Shorts and Coverup: Torrid

What I love about these photos is that they are completely natural. No makeup, no hair styling, not even any shoes- just au naturel, on the beach, ready for a day in the water!

These togs are so comfy and cute that I picked them in this classic one piece and in a funky fluro green tankini. Apart from being a little crazy for polka dots, I also love the retro feel of the cut and the way they draw attention to my hips.

I still can't leave the house without a pair of board shorts. I guess I kind of feel a little too naked without them. Anyway, I shopped around for ages to find a mini cut pair as most of the available plus-size shorts are that horrible mid thigh length. Not surprisingly, Torrid delivered with this perfect pair AND this awesomely girly and classic coverup! Perfect beach chic!

How do you feel about swimwear?
Do you wear board shorts over your swimwear??
