My Christmas List

Danielle from Five Little Reasons, recently tagged me in her blog post 'All I want for Christmas..My top 5' and asked me what my Christmas list would have on it.  Now, given that our epic holiday of awesomeness is planned over the festive season this year, I have done NO CHRISTMAS SHOPPING, or even thought about what I wanted (apart of course from piles of spending money!). So with much deliberation here the top 5 things on my Chrissy list this year:

1) ASOS Curve Skater Dress

So, I'm pretty sure this fabulous dress is made for me! It is my style, my neckline, my cut and MY COLOUR! Now, if only it was mine....

2) Nude by Nature Starter Kit

My make-up regime is in desperate need of an overhaul! I have quite sensitive skin so have been lusting after this full starter kit from Nude by Nature; flawless make-up free from chemicals- yes please!!! :)

3) ASOS Pepper and Sequin and Suede Peep Toes

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!! As if you couldn't totally see me rocking these sexy babies!!! If only they felt as comfortable as Crocs......

4) Vespa LX 150

Okay, so I know this is a long shot, but it's been on Christmas wish lists for as long as I can remember! Please Santa, I've been such a good girl!!!

5) EOS 5D Mark II Canon SLR

I want a Canon SLR sooooo bad! If it weren't for epic-holiday-of-fabulousness I would have picked one up earlier this year. I love the amazing high quality pictures these take and the super fastness of them swoooonnnnnn

6) Monif C Monaco Runched Swimmers

I know it's only meant to be five things, but I adore these togs! I would love to carve up the beaches and sunbake away the summer in these fabulous swimmers!

Now to pass this list on to some other fabulous bloggers:

Nat from Extra Large as Life
Stef from If Curves Could Talk
Trees from Adventures of a Girl from the Naki
Anita from Thick Threads
Mamma Moon from That's Curvalicious!

What is on your Christmas list ladies?????

OOTD: There is something about this dress......

.....that makes me feel incredibly sexy. I've said before how much I love this dress- but every time I wear it, it just feels so right.

Dress: City Chic, Necklace: Diva, Tights: We Love Colors

I wore this dress out on the weekend, to meet up with Ben and some of his mates in the city for some drinks and shenanigans. I love the contrasting feel of the silk and velvet and the cute sweetheart bust line to this dress. I actually have no bra in these photos- something I rarely do as a, *ahem*, well endowed woman ;)

I'm also loving the messy up do at the moment. It's cute, breezy and cool for summer- and looks awesome with a statement headband!

I love being able to get this dress out, throw it on and know I look fab! Do you have a go-to instant fabulous outfit????

Movember and my beard love

 (source Movember)

Movember moustache season is definitely upon us. Now, I'm all for the cause- by growing facial hair throughout November, men all over the world can raise funds and awareness about men's health, prostate cancer and depression; BUT....my handsome boyfriend grows foul facial fuzz worthy of a true 1970's porn star.

I love a good beard and Ben normally sports a full face of jealousy-inspiring beard fur. In fact, his beard growing skills are so epic, he has sported some mighty fine styles over the years we have been together:

Goatee beard, furry beard, crazy beard, safety first beard, even Ron Jeremy mo! And sadly in Movember, he goes from this.... to this...and then THIS!

Yes, this is my boyfriend. And yes, he is 'here to cleeeaannn thee pooollll.'

So if you have a few dollars to spare, jump on and support Ben on his Mo Space Page and help raise vital funds for this awesome cause!

...........And for goodness sake, may this month hurry up so I can have my handsome (and hairy!) man back!!

OOTD: Monochrome

I was very excited about this Forever 21+ skirt, it's fun, flirty and perfect for a bit of shenanigans! I wore it out with for dinner and drinks with some girlfriends the other day:

Top: Big W, Slip underneath: City Chic, Skirt: Forever 21

We headed out to dinner, knocked back a few cocktails and chowed down on some chocolate nachos for dessert! Omnomnom! I also happen to be hooked on my Instagram Iphone app ;)

I then managed to twist their arms into playing a some sideshows with me before we did a bit of late night shopping!

(apologies for crapola Iphone pictures)

I'm really happy with the way the skirt looks. I used one of my City Chic dress slips underneath as it is totally sheer and didn't come with anything else, but I'm hoping to get my hands on a cute little black mini to wear with it in the future.

Sheer and maxi- summer chic tick! :) And I picked it up for about $12 in the sales!!!! What is your favourite bargain of the moment?

OOTD: Cherries and runching!

The other night I met up with the ngiht school besties for some dinner and drinks- a perfect excuse to wear my rocking vintage feel Torrid dress!

Dress: Torrid, Tights: We Love Colors, Necklace: Diva

This is one of those dresses that I feel cute and confident in. The runching sits awesomely and the waist cincher draws attention to my smallest part. I love the retro, vintage feel to it- and sexy booby neckline is rad! For the first time in a long time, I forgot my camera. These piccys were taken when we got home, food baby on board and red and shiny wine face on- and this dress still rocks!!

Oh, and it's Movember so I've got my 'stache on ;)

Buff guys, cheap basic spirits and pub food???? Sold!! The competitors battled it out in 6 rounds with an elimination each round- by a cream pie to the face! There was a suit parade, boxer short parade, mime a song, dance off , a pick up line round and of course the 'why do you deserve to be champion' speaking round. Nothing to risqué- although my girlfriend Kendall did get a little, *ahem* , special treatment! ;)

OOTD: City drinks

One of the best benefits of Ben working in the city is post work drinks! Having so many pubs and restaurants right outside your door is very tempting and I love meeting Ben in town on Friday nights for some 'yayyyy, it's the weekend' celebrations!

Dress: Crossroads,  Tights: BigW, Shrug: City Chic

Again this is a Crossroads dress- last one for a while I swear! The flower detailing on the neckline is gorgeous! I'm totally in love with this City Chic sheer jacket- it goes with everything and is so super chic!

Necklace: Diva, Bracelets: (top-bottom) Diva, Charlie Brown, City Chic

Being Movember, I'm rocking this rad moustache necklace from Diva- love! (I'll be doing a full post soon about Movember, as Ben is currently sporting an awful porn mo to raise money for this awesome cause- check it out!). I've also piled up a bit or arm candy- I really like the varying types and thickness; it adds a real punch to any outfit!

OOTD: Melbourne Cup

November 1st was Melbourne Cup, and even though we couldn't get to the races, some girlfriends and I dolled up, placed a few bets and had a high tea!

(okay I know I have thongs on- all my heels are in storage- BUT it wasn't a huge fashion sin as we were just hanging at home ;)

I unfortunately didn't win anything- but some of other girls placed the lucky bet for Dunaden! I did however indulge in our high tea goodies including home-made scones, caramel tarts, bruschetta and chocolate dipped strawberries! Plus Nicole's awesome fruit punch- omnomnom! (as a side note- I am crazily hooked on my Instagram Iphone app!)

Bec, Libby, Nicole and I enjoying our punch post the main race! Libby is taking one for the team and drinking from the punch bowl ;)

Dress: Crossroads

I know I've been swamping my OOTD posts with Crossroads lately- but I am just so in love with them and their sales have been so awfully tempting! Anyway, this dress rocks! I love the deep ruffle neckline and ruffle flutters- bliss! :)
